BRIEF 03: RICHARD ROBINSON // MADS PERCH

Photography website found called Mads Perch, the designer who branded and did the identity for this is  Richard Robinson.
This is the work found on his website about the Identity design for Mads Perch. Showing the logo design and a brief page of the website. The logo works well, with the information simply placed on to it including contact details. The only thing I would say is the logo relies solely on the shape rather than anything else if seeing from a distance.

Screenshots from accessing the website.

This is the first image of the website, immediately showing the clients they have had, which are all music based. Set in a grid format showing one picture from each client, by clicking on that picture it brings you to that shoot.

Contact page, which just pushes down the rest of the page to make some room for it, which I think works nicely. Quite subtle, but relevant.

The About page does the same, but due to more content, the grid of photographers is lower down.

I like the layout and feel it is appropriate, very similar to a lot of portfolio websites. This is clearly for a reason because it does work well and communicates what it should and does not overcomplicate things, however because it is so used maybe a different approach should be used.
